Camp Sweet Potato Bacon

Method
- Gather supplies: 1. Sweet potatoes, cutting gloves, knife. 2. dry ingredients from spice rack and flok dry storage. 3. Large sheet pan.

- Peel then slice sweet potatoes in strips similar in length and width like bacon.
- Combine syrup, oil, spices, and sauce in a dish.
- Place strips into brine, marinate overnight (or at least 1 hour).
- About 1 hour prior to the meal service, lay strips out on a large baking sheet pan and bake in convection oven at 425 until some strips are starting to caramelize.
