This is a rich hot chocolate mix that the entire family loves. We love it with the So Delicious Coconut Beverage, but any non-dairy milk will work. We make little containers of it for Christmas gifts so that when we go to Granny or Grandma’s we can always have a cup of cocoa.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Ghiradelli Sweet Ground Cocoa
  • 1 cup CoffeeMate Powder, Original
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 55 g Jello Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

  1. Combine and store in air-tight container.

Notes

To make hot cococa: Add 8 to 16 gm (1 to 2 tablespoons) per cup of non-dairy milk.
If you cannot find Ghirardelli sweet ground cocoa, you can replace it with 30 gm (6Tablespoons) pure cocoa + 150 gm (3/4 cup) sugar

Q: Hello, I could only find the Ghiradelli UNSweet Ground Cocoa. Will that still work or shall I add more sugar?

Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa is 9.2 mg phe per gm, where that sweetened is 2.05 mg/gm. The reason the sweetened is so much lower is the sugar. So if you add 43 gm of the unsweetened + 149 gm sugar, it should be the equivalent of using the sweetened and will keep the phe/protein the same.
