Herbed Cheese Spread

This is delicious as a base in a spring time galette, a spread on a sandwich or cracker. If you want to get fancy, you can roll it into a log an refrigerate for an hour, then roll in fresh minced chives. You can even slice, and freeze the coins, then bread and fry for a delicious addition to a salad.

Ingredients
  

  • 7 ounces Just Like Feta Block
  • 3 1/2 fluid ounces Violife Just Like Cream Cheese Original
  • 1 tablespoon Raw Chives
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Heavy/Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

  1. Process all of the herbs in the food processor until minced. Add the feta, cream cheese, salt, pepper and heavy cream. Process for one minute until smooth. Transfer to serving bowl.
